Thin Lizzy Thin Lizzy (55th Anniversary) (Green Vinyl)

Celebrating its 55th anniversary, Irish rock band Thin Lizzy released their debut studio album on April 30, 1971. The album was followed by the New Day EP, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios and released in August of that year. It was the band’s first album with the original lineup of Phil Lynott (bass, vocals), Eric Bell (guitar) and Brian Downey (drums).

This album was Thin Lizzy putting all they had into the music and taking risks. It’s passionate, high-energy and distinctive.
